El par XAU/USD sufrió fuertes pérdidas por el aumento de los rendimientos de los bonos del Tesoro de Estados Unidos el jueves pasado y cerró la semana en territorio negativo. Con el dólar luchando por encontrar demanda el lunes, el par se volvió hacia el norte y se vio por última vez ganando un 0,45% a diario a $1,780.
El oro sube tras cerrar en territorio negativo la semana pasada. Una ruptura por encima de $1,783 podría abrir la puerta a ganancias adicionales. El soporte inicial para XAU/USD se ubica en $1,775. Mientras tanto, es probable que el alza permanezca limitado en medio del sentimiento alcista subyacente en los mercados financieros, que tiende a socavar el XAU/USD como refugio seguro. Los inversores también podrían abstenerse de hacer apuestas agresivas antes del discurso programado del presidente de la Fed, Jerome Powell, a finales de este lunes.
Desde una perspectiva técnica, el oro tiene más espacio al alza antes de quedar técnicamente sobrevendido. $1,783 (retroceso de Fibonacci 23.6% de la última tendencia alcista) se alinea como el obstáculo inicial por delante de $1,790 (resistencia estática y nivel psicológico de $1,800. Los soportes, por otro lado, se ubican en $1,751 (retroceso de Fibonacci 38.2%), $1,738 (50% de retroceso de Fibonacci).
