The reaction of the US authorities to the attacks of September 11 has been criticized and discussed more than once. After 15 years, George W. Bush's library decided to post a few photos on which one can trace the reaction of the top US officials to one of the most massive terrorist attacks in the history of the state.

In the photo: George Bush Jr. while attending an elementary school in Sarasota, the morning of September 11, 2001. It was there that the president learned about the tragedy.

The school provided George W. Bush and his assistants with a separate room in which the politicians closed to discuss what had happened. It was there that Bush wrote an appeal to the citizens of the United States of America.

The next point on the map of America, where George W. Bush went, was the Barksdale US Air Force Base.

A press conference was also held at the airbase. During his speech, Bush Jr. said that the States will necessarily track down and make the terrorists answer.
